About Us

Established late 2004 with a framework of a fair, open and honest Pro Golf Tour, to be run on behalf of aspiring Tournament Professionals in the Southern half of England. With Jamega you get the complete Tournament experience, fully manned registration, issue of individually printed named scorecards, free yardage books, daily pin-sheets, local rules, official starter (not a volunteer club member) two “on-course” Rules Officials. Daily Tee and hole locations determined by us, not the club committee.

We build a good relationship with the greens-staff in advance of the event, this is to ensure that we get the best out of every golf course, course preparation is paramount.

Every aspect of the tour is based around producing the right grounding and experience to benefit a future European Tour Player. Jamega’s team of well motivated staff still have the same enthusiasm as Day1, always striving to ensure that your experience is enjoyable, beneficial and appropriate to your long term goals and targets. History and the Future


We have grown, year on year and in 2009 we ran 20, 36 hole tournaments at some fantastic venues we also had our most successful season, nearly 350 members, average field sizes approaching 100 players paying out over £200,000 in Prize Money.

In 2010 we introduced 5 new courses to our Schedule, including our first links course, the famous Hayling Island, one of the oldest links courses in England.

We’ve designed and introduced a Tournament Management Computer Programme, the system allows us to publish a scrolling leader-board also with individuals scorecards to both our in-house digital television and also transmitting the information to our website, your hole by hole scores will still be viewable in years to come, a massive improvement.

We also have a computer based texting service to enable us to send you all, your individual Tee-Times, a great bonus! Thanks to our sponsor IMImobile for their programme.

Now onto 2011 where we held 23 successful Tournaments that were enjoyed by over 350 players of which more than 190 picked up prize money. Our field sizes increased by an average of 20% in 2011, which ensured excellent prize-funds and resulted in our Order of Merit Winner exceeding £30,000 in prize money and the top 20 professionals all banking over £4,000.

We also held 2 Pro-Ams at Mentmore Golf & Country Club with amateur teams of over 120 players all thoroughly enjoying the experience of playing with our professional golfers. It provided a very positive experience for all those concerned.

In 2012 we had by far and away our best season, with 24 Tournaments held at high-calibre courses throughout the UK. We also began the season by holding 3 tournaments in South Western Spain. Our early year Memberships  exceeded previous years, which turned out to be a precursor to a fantastic 2012 season.

During 2012/13/14 we saw several of our players progress onto The Challenge Tour and The European Tour and also play in The Open Championship.

2015 saw us making our 1st visit to the famous Nicklaus designed course at Machynys a massive hit with all of the professionals, so for 2016 you'll be delighted to know that we are returning, not only that but we've managed to secure another famous links course, namely Ashburnham, these 2 courses early in our schedule are sure to be in stunning condition.

Also a massive improvement for 2015 and beyond; Jamega, with it's partner Tour,The Algarve Pro Golf Tour are the only all year choice for tournament play with in excess of 35 tournaments. Jamega runs April through to October and The Algarve Pro Golf Tour November through to the end of March. The obvious/only real choice for serious minded
tournament professionals.

Membership of the tour is maintained at £200 and entry fees will also stay the same at £220 per event and we believe that both represent excellent value for money.
